Many of Jenna's collage images seem to be focused around the idea of looks and beauty. Supporting this are the various images of cosmetic products, head and body shots of models (male and female), and words like "beauty". There is definitely an appreciation for the personal aesthetic here.
This collage is really focused around women and femininity. A majority of the pictures are of young women, and surrounding them are pictures of beauty related products and words. Looking at the collage as a whole, its interesting to see some organization of color. The right side seems to be a lot of lime green, the bottom is mostly warmer colors like reds and oranges, and the top/left uses more blue.
This collage focuses a lot on woman and beauty. The lipstick, different poses, and other beauty products all contribute to this pattern. I also noticed that all the pictures were cut in sharp rectangular fashion with fewer smooth shapes.
It seems like all of us agree that two big patterns in this collage are women and beauty. However, I also saw that some of the women look strong and confident, but I don't know if anyone saw that. I thought it was interesting when Dan noticed that all of "the pictures were cut in sharp rectangular fashion with fewer smooth shapes." I never noticed that! I also found it interesting that Courtney noticed a color pattern in certain areas. I agreed that there was a pattern of pink going on, but I actually didn't notice the blue or green patterns in other areas. Something else that surprised me was how no one noticed a happiness and fun theme going on in the collage. I appreciate everyone's comments!
